A Vorlon from Babylon 5

So I was talking with a friend of mine and it came out that I had never seen Babylon 5. Well he strongly advised that I correct that situation, but warned me that seasons 1 and 2 suck. Great, I can skip them then? No, of course not.

Well I watched the hour and a half pilot on Netflix just now and he is right, the acting is horrible. The storyline was somewhat predictable, and the special effects were representative of their time. That said, however, it was far better than the original Battlestar Galactica, which I enjoyed (and more so the new BSG). Let's not even talk about V (considering I'm way behind on season 2, which has not held my interest at all). So I'll keep plugging away, how many episodes in season 1 & 2 could there be? Oh, right; there's 55 episodes ahead of me yet. /fp

What else? Got a call about a prospective web developer position that sounds interesting. No; not giving up on my own thing, but benefits are a killer! This position would be down town, so I'd have a good hour each way to work on my own stuff from the train. We'll see... If they try to absorb my clients and shut me down like that other company, they can forget it.
